This hack would involve hacking the server. The only so called "hacks" have just been mods that use the data the local machine has. The local game client does not know where anyone is until the server tells it, and it has no need to do so until it needs to do so. I've never seen a proven "hack" in this game, and I highly doubt someone would do this. What ships were on the teams, map, etc.Ī replay would probably clear this up really quick. Otherwise I'd request a replay for more info. How's your internet connection? Could be potentially lag in the connection and rendering. There is no such thing as a cheat code but there are some illicit programs that allow players to see where every ship is even those not in detection range.Įventually, they should be caught by the anti-cheat software WG uses. But I am curious if anybody knows for sure about these things. Granted it's just a game, and if somebody cheats is it really a big deal? Probably not. It's totally possible that my perception could be flawed, but I have heard talk of things people can do to take an unfair advantage. There have been other times I have taken accurate fire when I hadn't been spotted for a long time. Maybe I made the mistake once and didn't see the smoke, but this happened a few times. And all game long this guy had me spotted and I couldn't see him. Less 20%, the best you're going to do is 5.7, which is pretty good. I was just playing around battle and dealing with somers, which has a base detect ability of 7.16. I was playing a ranked battle with shima, which is awesome detectability- 5.6k with all the stuff.
